Projects
These are some projects that I have worked on.
idre.am
What are you dreaming? This little app lets you enter your dream and have others analyze them. This was a fun project created at Startup Weekend San Antonio. I coded the app in Rails with a lot of help from some awesome folks.
Winedrip
Discover wines with your friends your way. I built this site from the ground up in Ruby on Rails and am still working on improving your social wine experience.
JustNeem
The best body care products on the planet, each soap and lotion contains neem a natural healing agent that protects and enriches your skin. Plus, the company’s purpose is to provide economic development opportunities for Mauritania in northwest Africa. A great product for a great purpose! I help with web design, selling the soap, and even making soap from time to time.
SpaceLift
Wanna give your MySpace profile a facelift? This application will allow you to view your MySpace profile in the wrinkle-free Facebook layout. Add SpaceLift to your Facebook profile.
Sims Division
I worked as an intern at Electronic Arts in the Sims division last summer, working on an unannounced project. Working on the inside, I learned about the industry and the technology. I totally have to give a shout-out to the Sims folks, some of the smartest, coolest people I have ever worked with.
Gallery
In the summer of 2005 I participated in the Google Summer of Code program and worked on a php-driven image management system called Gallery. I implemented features to provide hidden and password-protected albums.
DAMSEL
DAMSEL is a project that I worked on as part of a software engineering internship during the summer of 2003. DAMSEL stands for Digital Assets Management System for Electronic Libraries and is an open-source solution for managing digital files through the use of a web application. It is built in Java using the Struts/JSP framework connected to a MySQL database. Check out the project on sourceforge or email me about it if you are interested.
